Can be operated with 9 V batteries or 48 V phantom power. High-impedance input; higher output level than with a passive DI box. Active circuitry allows for high input impedance (1 meg. ohm) and higher input sensitivity (typical difference between in and out -4 dB). Maximum output impedance with phantom power operation +10 DB. Output: transformer balanced. The special "floating ground" circuitry enables ground lift even during phantom power operation.

Active DI-box with outstanding additional functions.
These include an unbalanced XLR input, in addition to the 3-way attenuator -10, -20, -30 dB and a switchable gain of 12 dB, connected with a maximum output voltage of +20 DB. The Ground lift switch has a "lift" position allowing adjustments between a "soft and hard grounding". The balanced output is achieved with a high-quality transformer in the Mumetall housing that was specially developed for this purpose. Active 4-channel DI box. Each channel has a jack input with a parallel output for passing through the signal. An attenuation switch (-30 dB) allows either a line or loudspeaker signal to be connected. Active 4 x DI box, 19" format. Technical specifications identical to the PAN-02, however, the PAN-03 is built for mains operation.
